HyPERLOOP
FINAL RESULT
To create the renderings, I've learned to use the program Lumion. By inputting the CAD file into this software, it allows you to add materials and even design your own environment around it.
REQUIREMENTS & PLANNING
//The intended property in Lathen is to be used
//Height Track: 4 m
//Diameter Loop: 3.80 m
//Length Pod: approx. 20 m
//Diameter Pod: 2.80 m
TASK
A new development center for the Hyperloop technology is in the planning. Student groups have the chance to develop a matching concept, where each member focusing on either the test center, the exterior, or the interior of a new Hyperloop-pod. My task will be the test center.
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
MOODBOARD
The building will have a futuristic look, matching the new Hyperloop technology. It'll use an interplay of concrete and glass, with greenery and solar highlighting its eco-friendly design. Inspired by an overhanging architectural style, the structure will exude innovation and forward-thinking design.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY
SHAPE ANALYSIS & CONCEPT
The concept isn't just about a test center for workers. It's also meant to be an exciting place for visitors, where they can learn about the new technology. From the outside, the building should clearly show its purpose as a test center. People should be able to see inside, where they can watch the workshop and the process of loading a new pod onto the test track.
CAD MODELING
The building was created in Fusion 360. I worked a lot with parametric modeling so that I could test different proportions of the elements. Due to this, a harmonious form has been found.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE TECHNOLOGY
The future center will provide facilities for testing, storage and maintenance of the pods. In addition to the main building, where the pods will be loaded and unloaded, a separate hall will be used for storage and assembly.
TESTRIDE ON THE TRACK
The test track is used by developers to test new pods. In addition, visitors can directly experience the travel feeling of the future by taking part in test drives.
SUSTAINABILITY
To achieve energy efficiency, the building will harness renewable energy sources, aiming to rely as much as possible on self-generated power.

Visitors and investors have the opportunity to get to know the new technology through an interactive exhibition, information panels and
visitor tours. The open architecture allows visitors to experience first-hand how pods are loaded and unloaded in the loop.
